"The Wicked" pt 1

As we read the book of Proverbs it is amazing to contrast what it says regarding the wicked and the righteous.  It is a very sobering study.  In these 31 chapters 82 references are made to the wicked and the fruit of their lifestyles.  Over the next few days I'd like to highlight these references both of the wicked and the righteous for our edification, warning and learning.  They are verses we need to read asking God for a heart of wisdom to walk in his ways.   Think about the principles of sowing and reaping being played out as you read these verses.   As we read these verses keep in mind this awesome reminder found in chapter 15.

May I close with this humbling and awesome reminder from 1 Corinthians.

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."
 1 Corinthians 6:19-12

Have you been washed, cleansed and forgiven at the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Romans 1:16;  Ephesians 2:8-10;  2 Corinthians 5:17
